2011 Stash Busting Report, January-week 1

fabric in this week: 0
fabric out this week: 10.25 yards
fabric in YTD: 0
fabric out YTD: 10.25 yards
goal: 275 yards out for the year

I'm doing good this year and starting out right. I'll be making 2 quilts a month towards my stash busting goal.

For the month of January i'll be using the "Butter, Charm, and Jelly" pattern by Legacy patterns to make both quilts. this is one of my old stand-by patterns, and i've made several quilts with it.

the first quilt of the month will be made using the "Lumiere de Noel" fabric by French General, with a touch of "Chelsea Manor" by Bunny Hill Designs.
the second quilt this month will be made using the "Portobello Market" fabric by 3 sisters.

(pictures when i get them back from the quilter's)

I had to go look up your pattern. It looks like a great one to sew up quickly. Good luck on your goal of two quilts per month. That is an amazing goal but it will certainly help bust the stash. I can hardly wait to see your first. That collection is lovely.
