My amaryillis is blooming again! When i first brought it into bloom inside in '06 this is what it looked like.
Last November i brought the plant indoors from the patio to rest for a while in the dark.
So it sat patiently doing it's dorment thing until April of this year when i brought it back outside to grow again. And grow it has! I've had four blooms from the first stalk and it's sending up a second stalk. What i've noticed is that the amount of sunlight deepens the color of the bloom.
I love these plants!
