yep it definitely got cold last night--like 23 degrees cold.
i checked on the hydrangea plants by the office as i went to pick up my mail today, and they were definitely showing signs of freezer burn.
right now at 8:30 pm it's 27.5 degrees outside with little wind. just the right temps to start freezing the lake! I'll have to check it tomorrow morning to see if we have any ice starting to form.
a few years ago we had a nice ice pack on the lake, but it took several cold nights to form.
it would be nice to have a normal Winter again with snow in measureable amounts.
